Hold on... What is Seasonal Marketing, you ask?

In a nutshell, Seasonal Marketing consists of adjusting your online marketing campaigns to the ongoing events; in other words, targeting important events and national or global holidays for your MedSpa community. You name it: Christmas, Easter, or Thanksgiving.

Look at the calendar, identify appropriate opportunities each month and capitalize on them. Now is the right time to figure out how you're going to leverage those events to reap the most benefit. driving more attention to your product or service in the interest of boosting your MedSpa revenue.

Pro-tip: Plan in advance! The sooner you start promoting your seasonal campaigns; the more reach you'll have. If you can sit back to write down your goals and design your Social Media grid at least a couple of weeks in advance, the chances of success will definitely increase.

Read our blogpost about how to set up goals for your MedSpa if you need guidance throughout your marketing planification.

Does Seasonal Trends Apply to Your MedSpa Niche?

Seasonal marketing perfectly fits the MedSpa industry, but to answer this question convincingly, you would have to see for yourself your social media traffic behavior.  And to read the impact of Seasonal Marketing in numbers, you must understand web traffic seasonality crystal clear.

Ok, let’s do this!

What is Web & Social Media traffic and how to track it

Website and Social Media traffic refers to the number of visitors to your website, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Knowing the number of visitors you have is essential because the number of visitors equals the number of opportunities you have to add new customers.

The number of visitors to your website becomes the number of opportunities your business has to:

  • Share your brand
  • Give an impression
  • Build a relationship with your customers
  • Opportunities to generate quality leads
  • Nurture and help solve their problem
  • Sell your product or service
  • Gain a new customer or client and continue to increase your business revenue

In the long run, increased web traffic goes far beyond more profit. It should allow you to grow your business, expand your product lines, hire more employees, open new locations, invest in more amazing services and products.

Now, web traffic seasonality refers to the predictable, yearly upward, and downward trends in the search results that continually fluctuate in annual circles. Yes, even during COVID holidays are the perfect excuse for spending some extra money.

This 2020 people are advocating for normalcy and feeling better, healthier and this is a great opportunity for you to target your market with wholesome, heartwarming and useful information, products and services.

How do you keep track of your web traffic?

Are you tracking your incoming traffic through Google Analytics? Facebook Business? How do you know what content is working and what is not catching your audience attention?

Keep in mind traffic without quality and proper control is pretty much pointless

How Can You Adjust Your Social Media Content Calendar For the Season

Seasonal Marketing Starts with Keywords Research

Keyword research will provide you with the necessary data to help you choose the best keyword opportunities. Researching keywords will give you a better understanding of how high the demand is for certain keywords.

Keyword research can help you find ideas for your next blog post, learn more about the needs of your audience, and keep up to date with the ever-changing search landscape. Ultimately, by researching the words people type into search engines and using this research to create targeted content, you can drive the right traffic to your site — traffic that is more likely to convert.

Pro-tip: Go a little deeper and back up your keyword list with collected data from Google Trends to know exactly when you should start your campaign.

For instance, if you check the keyword “Christmas gift” with Google Trends, most likely you’ll notice this specific queue starts rising in the middle of October, peaks between the 13th and 19th of December and falls rapidly after Christmas.

Just like that if you can quickly get to know what terms to target for the best results and in what intervals to implement your seasonal campaigns.

Pro-tip: Keyword research isn't just a one-off task. Your website's foundation is built on keywords, so, your website requires regular re-evaluation and maintenance. We suggest running a test every month, at least.

Now that you have intel, let's talk about reverse engineering

Simply put, reverse engineering is the act of analyzing an existing successful process or structure (whether it be a marketing campaign, or the structure of a website) and using the knowledge gained from that analysis to recreate a duplicate or similar system.

Look at your website’s traffic performance backward. Make a year to year comparison and detect when you have your seasonal spikes. Then, try to tie traffic spikes to particular keywords and seasonal backgrounds to understand the correlation and then intentionally use them to drive even better results.

We Partner With You To Create 7 Figure Med Aesthetics Practices

My name is Luis Trevino and I’ve been where you are. I’ve built and ran a few 7 figure businesses and have been stressed out, overworked, and hanging on by a thread. Despite that, I still love what I do and like you, it was never about the money – it was the passion that drove me towards helping others. However, even if your financials look great, there’s something to be said about the number of hours you work each week…and the emotional toll it’s taking on your family and loved ones.
